EDTA K3 or K2 Blood Collection Tubes

NET EDTA tubes are used for haematology purposes, where whole blood is required for examination. EDTA functions effectively to cover the calcium ions of the blood, thereby preventing blood coagulation.NET EDTA gel tubes contain EDTA coating and a special gel at the base. The gel forms a stable barrier between the plasma and the blood cells during and after centrifugation. The plasma can be extracted and utilized for examination.

  • Tube Size: 13x75mm,13x100mm, 16x100mm
  • Tube Material: Glass or PET
  • Draw Volume: 2-3ml,4-5ml,7-10ml
  • Cap color: Purple
  • Expiration: Two Years

EDTA tube offers comprehensive protection for blood cells, especially for protecting the blood platelet, so that it can effectively stop the gathering of blood platelet and makes the form and volume of blood cells uninfluenced within a long time. Excellent outfits with super-minute technique can spray additive uniformly on the inner surface of the tube, thus blood specimens can completely mix with the additive. EDTA anticoagulant plasma is used for biological assay of pathogenic microorganisms, parasite and bacterial moleculess, etc.

Application:

1.Uses K2 EDTA or K3 EDTA as an anticoagulant.

2.Used for hematological examinations.

3. Functions include blood compatibility testin (Crossmatch), Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) tests, and potassium blood tests.

4.Can be used for examination of leukocytes, erythrocytes, platelets, and analysis examinations of immunology (cortisol, transferrin, phosphatase).

5.The difference between K2 EDTA & K3 EDTA lies in the different potassium content.

Instructions for use:

1. Please mix the sample 8 to 10 times by inversion right after the sampling for hamatology test.

2.Drawn sample can be stored up to 6 hours at 4℃ for the preservation of WBC & RBC, but not recommended prolonged over 24 hours.
